12 CrockPot Recipes for Soccer Night (a solution, besides fast food, for busy parents and busy kids!)

As we move into spring sports season many parents are finding that certain nights of the week are almost impossible for family dinner.  My night is Tuesdays.  My daughter has dance and soccer and my son has soccer.  Making dinner at 5 pm is just not feasible.  But what is awesome is that I can prepare something in the afternoon…say 2 pm-ish when both kids are at school and we’ll have a warm meal waiting for us when we get home from the activities later that night.  I do suggest getting a slow cooker with a timer that allows you to set the cook time and then have the cooker switch to warm.  That way if you are later than you thought you won’t come home to an overcooked dinner.  All of these meals have prep work that is done almost exclusively before you put the food in the slow cooker…in other words the food will be ready when you get home.  You won’t need to do a lot of extra stuff to get it ready to eat!  I hope these delicious meals can make family dinner happen at your house on your busy nights!
