Instant Pot Southern Hamburger Steaks seasoned beef patties with mushroom and onion brown gravy. The steaks are full of flavor and taste so good served over mashed potatoes.
In a bowl combine beef, egg, breadcrumbs, bacon, and seasonings. Form into patties. Sprinkle flour on a plate. Lightly dredge the patties in the flour. Set aside.
Turn Pot to sauté. Add olive oil, onions, and mushrooms. Sauté 5 minutes. Scrape pan. Turn off. Place patties on top. Pour water in. Add beef base and Worcestershire.
Cover and seal. Pressure cook 1 minute. Let sit 5 minutes then vent. Remove the lid. Add milk and flour to a jar. Shake until combined. Place the patties on a plate.
