Amish Chicken

Instant Pot Amish Chicken –an easy recipe of chicken with a sour cream dill sauce that you’re going to love! This chicken and sauce taste great served over rice, potatoes or buttered egg noodles.

Water | Chicken | Mushrooms Onion Flakes | Chicken Base Onion Powder | Paprika Garlic Powder | Black Pepper Sour Cream | Cornstarch Lemon Juice | Dried Dill



Add water and chicken to the Instant Pot. Dump mushrooms on top. Add onion flakes, bouillon, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.


Cover Instant Pot and cook for 12 minutes. Let the pressure release for about 10 minutes then vent. Remove lid.


Remove chicken to chop. Stir together sour cream, cornstarch, lemon and dill. Sauté and stir in the mixture. Once thick, turn off the pot. Stir in the chicken.


Serve the chicken and sauce. Try serving over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, rice, cauliflower rice, or spaghetti squash. Enjoy!
