Panda Express Beijing Beef

Instant Pot Beijing Beef –sweet, sour and a little spicy! Strips of beef, onions and red bell peppers are served in a sweet and sour sauce. It tastes great served over rice!

Ingredients

– london broil – salt – soy sauce – apple cider vinegar – cayenne pepper – brown sugar – ketchup – hoisin sauce – oyster sauce – chili garlic sauce – minced garlic – onion – red pepper – cornstarch

In a bowl whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, cayenne, sugar, ketchup, hoisin, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce and garlic.

Thinly slice the meat into strips. Sprinkle salt evenly overtop. Stir the meat into the sauce to coat. Let sit for 30 minutes.

While meat is marinating, slice up onions and peppers.

Add water & spread the onions evenly into the pot. Dump in the meat on top. Add red pepper.

Cover Instant Pot and cook Low Pressure cook for 1 minute. Let sit for 10 minutes, then vent and remove the lid.

Stir cornstarch and water mixture together and add to the pot. Sauté to thicken the sauce.

Serve beef and sauce over rice and enjoy!
