Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Instant Pot Chicken Wild Rice Soup–creamy chicken and rice soup that tastes better than Panera Bread! Make this soup in your Instant Pot at home for a fraction of what you’d spend at a restaurant!

Butter | Onion | Broth Carrots | Celery | Chicken Rice | Half and Half | Flour Salt | Pepper



Turn Instant Pot to sauté. Melt the butter. Add diced onions and sauté for  4 minutes. Pour in the broth.


Add carrots, celery, chicken and rice. Cover and seal. Cook on SOUP for 10 minutes. Let the pot sit for 5 minutes then vent. Remove the lid.


Add the half and half to a cup. Whisk in flour until smooth. Add a cup of hot broth to temper. Add into the Instant Pot. Let the soup thicken.


Chop the chicken. Add it back into the pot. Add salt and cracked pepper. Ladle into bowls and enjoy.
