Bowl O' Red

INSTANT POT

Bowl O’ Red  is another name for a meat Texas chili (no beans). My version is easy, comforting and homey.

Ground Beef | Onion Flakes Garlic Powder | Cumin Paprika | Oregano  Cayenne | Cloves | Salt Beef Broth | Yellow Mustard Crushed Tomatoes  Tomato Paste

Ingredients

Turn Instant Pot to sauté. When it's ready, add the beef. and onions. Brown for 5 min. Drain off grease. Stir in garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, cayenne, cloves and salt. Stir.

Deglaze with broth, to remove the cooked on bits. Dump in mustard, tomatoes &  tomato paste. Don’t stir.

Secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the soup button to 10 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting

Stir well. Ladle into bowls and top with sour cream, pickles, oyster crackers, red onion, cheese, etc.
