Recipe for Slow Cooker Chicken Burrito Bowls with Avocado Cream Sauce

Chicken Burrito Bowls with Avocado Cream Sauce #crockpotdinner #recipe

Shredded chicken recipe (make beforehand and freeze...then use just as much as you need)
Cumin and chili powder, to taste
Rice (I used leftover brown rice that was in my fridge)
Black beans or pinto beans
Tomatoes and/or salsa
Chips (tortilla or corn would be good)
Avocado cream sauce recipe (or you could use this awesome tomatillo dressing)

1.  Warm the chicken (in a skillet or in the microwave) and season with a little cumin and chili powder.
2.  Place a scoop of rice in the bottom of each serving bowl.  Then top with all the desired toppings you want.  Finish by drizzling with avocado cream sauce.  

What an easy but delicious dinner idea.  It is also awesome if you have picky children because each burrito bowl can be customized to their likes.  The shredded chicken that is pre-made makes this dinner easy to throw together at 5:45 pm with whatever toppings you have on hand.  I loved the avocado cream sauce recipe but you could also just slice up avocados and then top with a little ranch if you're in a super big hurry. 4 stars.
